Starting a new page

As I drove home with my father back home through the heat wave that hasn't occurred for 50+ years, we got on the subject of highschool. Maybe it was the insane heat, but I got me to thinking about that place *shudders* The highschool stereotypes had created a shroud over my middle school soul and I became nervous. I went to a small catholic school in which there was only 55 classmates in the 8th grade. A small community, but we were like family there. Now I'm starting all over again, just like I did in Kindergarten, when I was a timid, shy and gentle lamb that nearly snapped the jumbo crayola crayons over the thought of leaving the safe haven known as my house. Now I'm (sorta) leaving the nest. Going to learn how to drive, drink coffee (okay never mind, scratch that idea) and maybe do some traveling during that period of time.

It seems that education is a big stepping stone for everybody nowadays. Or even it's something that begins to etch out a small fragment of the huge web known as life. Stay with parents, go to school, get a job, retire, die. It seems to planned and uneventful. I'm not saying that there is no joys or bumps along the road, but it seems like that is the basic sketch of many peoples lives. So that is why I'm beginning of the blog. I wrote a living list. Something that I can live for and achieve. It's not stuff I want to do before I die, but stuff I want to do while I'm living (it's less depressing that way) and I'm going to show you the thrills of living.

Snows'a comin!

Guess what the weather is bringing us this winter? A blizzard! Yay! The weatherman is predicting 12 - 16 inches of snow! I can't wait! I went to Kowalskis and it was crazy, people were piling into the canned soup isle, standing there like a bunch of entranced sheep with all the different choices of canned MSG. And all I wanted was to get some peppermint extract for cupcakes, which took me awhile to get to, because of the dopes standing in the middle of the aisle.

Christmas break is inching closer and closer, and I can't for the holidays.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

There are some many wonderful things about Christmas!

Sledding
Snow-ball fights
Forts
Ice-skating
Family and friends
AND SOME MANY MORE TERRIFIC THINGS

Stay tuned for my 12 days of Christmas special blogs starting on December 19th.

Novels and Cable

Perhaps I need to learn more about noveling. I just finished with 30 grueling days of typing until my fingers began to protest and my parents confronted me about my late night habits, staying up too late. NaNoWrimo ended only a few days ago, and I still don't want to look at my completely nauseous writing that fills up several megabytes on my computer. Now that I am a self-proclaimed novelist , I should become a self-proclaimed editor.

Because I am a perfectionist.

Maybe I'm a bloggist, I write whenever I want, however I want, and write whatever it is bothering me, telling my problems and a number of other things to people who spend more than half of daylight on the computer.

NaNoWrimo is a organization that challenges writers of all ages with a limit of 30 days to write 50,000 words.
So that is about 1667 words everyday. Everyday you stare at a blank screen soon to be filled with 1667 parading words that seem to sound uglier and worse by the second. And when your typing at 11 at night (which I usually do) the words seem more uglier and potent than they were. Even the Earl Gray tea loses its appeal. And the creepy noises echoing in the laundry room don't help the late night stake out at the computer.

But now it's done...and I'm done, until next November. And then it will be more grueling months.

Today is Sunday, and since its Sunday, nothing except for golf and football are on t.v. Plus I don't have very good cable. I think about 12 channels. But after flipping through channel after channel I found Legally Blonde on TBS, and then I felt very happy. Except Vivian and Edith is awful to Elle...bleh.

Since I have Comcast, it shows all the available shows IF you had DECENT CABLE (which I don't) and they had Harry Potter 3 on, Pirates of the Caribbean, Ace of Cakes, repeats of Adventure Time and Spongebob. >:( Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I never watch t.v and I suppose if I actually got DECENT CABLE that I would never be able to get off the floor, after watching hours of horrible commercials and wonderful, beautiful t.v shows.
